With the boss missing Scabies and Scratch’it went hunting for him, rummaging around his chambers Scabies managed to come up with a throwing star still dripping with poison imbedded in Fizzeks bedding, hunting in the breeder pits for Snuffle allowed Scabies to (with mothers threatening assistance) find from the terrified breeders that they were attacked by black robed skaven. Putting two and two together Scabies then went in search of Scratch’it.   Scratch’it meanwhile had been busy trying up and netting the assassins that came for him, using his recently acquired Halfling slaves to immobilise the unconscious clan eshin agents by sitting on them. He then (dragging the assassin behind him) went to investigate Fizzeks quarters, peering into the antechamber of the room he managed to work out Fizzek wasn’t in and wandered off humming tunelessly, Scratch’it managed to catch up with Scabies and they both sat down and had a rather intense discussion about what happened, using mother as a rather obvious threat they managed to find a lot of info out from the clan eshin agent such as the location where they were to be taken.
They then proceed to go to the location described, an old grain silo on the surface, on the way they picked up a gaggle of plague monks that Scratch’it had driven into a frenzy of indignant wrath.  Arriving at the silo Scratch’it saw a bloody skaven being carried away by stormvermin, they waited for the area to be clear before moving into the silo. As they entered a small chamber leading onto the silo a Stormvermin sat guarding the door, seeing the overwhelming numbers of foes approaching he did what all good skaven would do and cheesed it, sprinting through the main doors into the silo, Mother roaring behind him. This alerted the other stormvermin in the chamber, who had enough time to grab their weapons before being beset by a wave of filth encrusted monks and an irate rat ogre. The stormvermin were quickly overwhelmed, one thought to bargain for freedom,  placing a knife to Fizzeks throat he cried for the party to stay back or the seer would die. Fizzek awoke at this, and feeling metal placed against his throat channelled his mutant electricity through his body, the stormvermin flew a good 10 feet before hitting a wall and falling down dead, sadly Snuffle (Fizzeks ever suffering bodyguard) was attached to fizzek via metal cuffs, and also flew away leaving behind an arm and a leg still attached to the cuffs, they twitched spasmodically as snuffle landed in a pile of grain and slowly started to sink. With the last of the Stormvermin dealt with and Snuffle fished out the grain (and his arm and leg stitched back on) Fizzek tried to reassume command, this was met with some resistance but after a few moments of speaking he swiftly reasserted his dominance in running the party. He demanded to know how to get out of his collar, however the other skaven didn’t know, that is except for the netted eshin agent, a special set of keys was needed, these keys were held by the Engineer that Fizzek just bit the face off. Demanding to know his location all the skaven came up a mysterious blank, and it was suggested that somewhere in the clan Skryre quarters was most likely.
And so the party bit farewell to the group of frothing monks who were quite happily rolling in the mouldering wheat and stormed down to the clan skryre quarter. Marching up to the entrance of the quarter they were stopped by a guard. He wasn’t about to let them past especially seeing the magic dampening collar around Fizzeks neck. Scracth’it sent one of his halfling slaves sprinting down the corridor past the guard (who didn’t react, just watched non-commitantly), seconds later there was the retort of a gun firing, and the guard merely smirked. A 5 warptoken bribe later and the guard was willing to let the grey seer in, the Rat ogre ‘mother’ would have to stay behind however. Scabies was having none of this, and was staying put, if mother could not enter then neither would Scabies, even intimidation and threat of violence by Fizzek would not budge Scabies, the collar dampening Fizzeks magic making Scabies far bolder than normal. As such the Fizzek angrily backed down and instead concentrated on trying to remove the dratted collar, calling Scratch’it over he got the flaming plague monk to try and melt the locking mechanisms with his warpfire, this however just succeeded in welding the collar very firmly on the disgruntled grey seer. Changing tact Fizzek started consuming warpstone to augment his limited magic, this just barely managed its required outcome and with a great force of will he managed to teleport away from the collar leaving it exuding heat and smouldering on the ground. The group then went to the nearest Skavenale pub to plot their vengeance on the engineer responsible. During the conversation there was a dispute that became quite heated between Fizzek and Scabies with Scabies questioning Fizzeks orders and authority, FIzzek wasn’t having any of this and tried to channel arcane destructive energies into the impudent clan moulder pack master. This failed however and swiftly Scabies screamed ‘Hes trying to kill me!’ while lunging at the grey seer with his whip, the rest of the party quickly decided that their old leader was incompetent. Fizzek felt the tide going against him and fled, teleporting out the bar and away. Scabies the new leader got his troops running and the quickly made their way to Fizzeks quarters, he was however nowhere to be seen... the party made their way to Clan skryre holdings knowing full well that the engineer that had kidnapped Fizzek had no love of him, a better bribe got them straight past the guards and they were swiftly talking to engineer Viskit Skrill, now with large respirator attached where his face had been mangled. Getting the services of Clan Skryre was easy at this point and the party swiftly managed to secure the bomb that had been hidden in Fizzek chambers with the use of the Clan Skryre agents.
Using more Clan Skryre resources Scabies made contact with their master Grey Seer Krisqueel and report Fizzeks betrayal and obvious corruption by the forces of chaos. Krisqueel was happy for the report and swiftly made Scabies the new official leader of the group. Snuffle was happy to become the bodyguard of Scabies and Scratch’it was happy to go along as long as he got to his and set fire to things. Krisqueel told the new leader of the assignment he would prove himself with, he must take the warpstone bomb and detonate it during a meeting of the leaders of the city, with their leaders horribly mutated the city would be ripe for assault and the Skaven would teem up from the sewers like a tide and overwhelm and destroy the city, Krisqueel added he would be sending an eshin agent to assist with this... Now Scabies just needed to pull this off and he would finally get the accolades he always knew he deserved!

Right this is a thousand years late, but as they say in France ' Better later than le never'... anywhoo.
Finding the location of the chief breeder was easy, however smuggling a bomb in was not... Setting up for infiltration the party set out. The new agent sent by Krisqueel, an eshin master assassin by the name of Shh, was a quiet sort, speaking in as few words as possible and making up for his silence with elaborate hand motions. Infiltrating the sewers under the palace went well, with the new party member scouting ahead and allowing the group to slip past the patrolling sewer jacks undetected. Finding a suitable location to investigate above ground, Scabies and Shh scuttled up a wall and through a grate, they emerged in a high hedged garden area next to a large ornate fountain. A swift scout of the area lead to a dead guard, silenced before he could call for help, and the knowledge that the party were happily in the right place. Shh scaled up a the walls and peered through the large and ornate window frames to find the correct chamber, and was in luck, discovering the dining hall straight away, armed with this knowledge and the starting of a plan Scabies and Shh retreated back through the grate, dropping the dead guard roundly on snuffles head as they descended.

Scabies got Mother to start digging straight through a wall, with the party standing guard to deal with any possible guards that may approach Mother started to burrow, He swiftly made his way through the rotting mortar and created a sizable tunnel into the wall, after about 10 minutes of burrowing Mother was called to a halt by Scabies. Deciding mother would be too large to burrow upwards and may collapse the tunnel Snuffle was sent scrambling upwards through the damp loam. Reaching a stone segment Snuffle stopped and cautiously raised the flagstone. Peering through the gap he discovered he was bang underneath the main feasting table, a perfect location to have the bomb detonate. Retreating back down his tunnel he reported back to his master. Thinking swiftly Scabies ordered the party retreat back to undernuln and brick up their tunnel behind them, they did an all right job at it too (for skaven) rather shockingly.

Scabies went to clan Skryre as asked for assistance, promising both warptokens and a slice of the glory, the clan agreed, they would create a device that would help focus the bombs energies thus increasing its efficiency. While the device was being created Scratch'it started to train one of the Halfling slaves to push a button in response to a picture of a pie being shown, and with gratuitous beatings the Halfling got the message and thusly was conditioned. After the device was created and the Halfling training was complete the party reassembled to plant the bomb on the eve of a great dinner, where the most important members of the city would be present. Smuggling the bomb into the tunnel went as planned, though a few guard patrols had to be overcome on the way, but they were swiftly silenced. Planting the bomb went slightly awry as the funnel to direct the bombs energies was forcibly shoved into the upwards leading tunnel, but this was only a minor mishap. A Halfling was marshalled along and forced to stand by the device, the skaven, retreated to the end of the tunnel away from the bomb and a Pie shaped sign was flashed at the Halfling. Responding to his conditioning he happily slapped his hand on the button detonating the bomb... There was a horrid feeling to static as all the parties hair stood on end, their eyes become hot as energy crackled down the hall towards the bomb, lightning flashed from the walls and entered the device before a sudden great clap and the energy was released. Most of it went straight up the funnel causing a wave of mutating energy to hit the leaders of nuln, horrible surges of flesh followed with skin melting like wax, great eruptions as new limbs formed, fell away and scuttled off with a life of their own. Sadly the skaven could not hear the screams as some of the energy escaped through the damaged directing pipe and sprang towards them. A great arc of warplightning hit Mother and he lit up with a purple glow that would not dim, Scabies leaped into the stinking stew and escaped the energy, Scratch'it merely stood there as lightning crackled over him but could find no purchase from his deadened nerves. Snuffle however felt his soul ripped from his body, it was hurled into the ether where another soul awaited him, Fizzek’s incorporeal essence was forcibly meshed into Snuffles soul stuff due to the power of the lord of change and the combined soul was hurled back into his body where he fell unconscious.
With the explosion running riot and the leaders of Nuln incapacitated the invasion began, skaven rose up from the sewers  overthrowing the unprepared armies of man, the city was taken in one bloody night of conflict and hordes of slaves were taken. Scabies was lauded as a tactical genius and accorded much respect in skaven society. Snuffles fur slowly lightened and he started to grow horns and develop magical powers, Fizzeks whisperings constantly in his ear drove him slowly mad and the conjoined being that was they overthrew and clan and created a great rebellion in undernuln in an attempt to seize control. He was driven back by the resident forces lead by Scabies, Scratch’it and clan pestilens were vital in the crushing of the rebellion and spread new and vicious toxins among Snuffles/Fizzeks ranks. Shh made a very good living assassinating members on both sides of the war and eventually left the city before vengeance was wrought upon him. Snuffle/Fizzek fled the city with the remnants of his clan, and travelled northwards finally disappearing into the chaos wastes chasing rumours of a warpstone capped mountain. Scratch’it went west after the civil war was over and ended up in lustria where his unique flaming skin allowed creation of brand new toxins never before seen by clan pestilens. Scabies became a famous moulder and rose high in the ranks of both his clan and the dirty 3 ½ dozen, Mother became the forefront of a new breeding stock of rat ogres.

There endeth the game, it was bloody good fun peeps!

Dan.
